kill switch

In short: A kill switch is a control that stops an agent, or all agents, from acting immediately. It should revoke credentials and block calls at the gateway, not only disable a user interface. Test it before an incident rather than during one.

Where does it show up in practice?

Aembit describes an AI kill switch; NewCore describes per-agent revocation.
