delegation chain

In short: A delegation chain is the sequence of hand-offs from a person to an agent and then to further agents or tools. Each link should narrow permissions, never widen them. Auditors need the whole chain to see who authorised an action and which agent finally performed it.

Where does it show up in practice?

Agent-to-agent calls lengthen the chain, so each hop should carry the original person's identity.
