agent-to-agent

In short: Agent-to-agent describes one AI agent calling another to complete part of a task. Each call adds a link to the delegation chain. The receiving agent should know which agent called it and on whose behalf, and permissions should only narrow along the way.

Where does it show up in practice?

Standards such as the A2A protocol define how agents discover and call each other.
