agent sponsor
In short: An agent sponsor is Microsoft's term for the person responsible for an agent in Entra Agent ID. The sponsor is recorded against the agent identity and is accountable for its lifecycle. In practice the word means much the same as agent owner in other vendors' material.
Where does it show up in practice?
Treat the sponsor field as mandatory when agents are created.
