SVID
In short: An SVID, SPIFFE Verifiable Identity Document, is the short-lived certificate or token that proves a workload's SPIFFE identity. Workloads receive and rotate SVIDs automatically, so no long-lived secret is stored. Agents can present an SVID to obtain access through a broker.
